Highly recommend for families. Snowboarding school was amazing. Had my 7 and 4 year old linking turns the first lesson. We all had a really fun day.

It’s a great family mountain.

Best snow of the year in the morning, softened up in the afternoon, but since it was not that crowded it did not get too clumpy. Nice people running Bromley and it is also reflected in the customers.

Arrived @ ticket window asked about discount policies because it was raining & very late season; grumpy lady said no discounts available today? walked up steps to ski racks... I felt my foot slip then looked to see why my foot slipped. I had stepped in DOG POOP. continued on to meet Danny & got a warm friendly greeting{glad you are here, you just missed the sunshine, hope you have a wonderful day!}. it started to rain, went out had a great time, came in and had lunch - what great staff in lunch room! After lunch rain and fog, still more fun then called it quits @ 2. Then stood @ shuttle stop for 10 minutes in the rain till a liftie yells over to us "no shuttle today, nobody's here, you got to walk back!" I have skied @ many areas around the US and Canada big and small - other than the 2 people we encountered that were wonderful, this was the WORST experience EVER! Good luck with future customer service? Never been to Bromley before; not thinking I'll come back either!
...I was sliding guy
I read the 1-star review posted previously of the guy who tore up his knee on 12/28/18. That's an unfortunate mishap and I feel bad for the guy. However, I was there with my wife and 3 kids that day as well and felt I had to comment since conditions on 12/28, while not stellar, were not nearly as bad as he made them out to be. I've ridden much, much worse conditions over the years in VT. I think Bromley did a good job of working with what was a tough hand they were dealt in terms of weather. This fellow seems like a bit of sour grapes, understandable I guess since he wrecked pretty bad, but maybe his skills aren't that sharp or maybe he doesn't know how to ski hard pack and icy conditions, which is a fact of life in east coast skiing. By comparison, my 3 daughters, who are all pre-teens had a great day on the 28th and loved it (they are not super-advanced or ski racers or anything). We didn't ride on the 29th because it rained. 30th the mountain did a good job working what was another difficult hand they were dealt with conditions. Can't comment about his experience with the staff, but I've had nothing but positive experiences in my days there (we usually ski/ride Bromley 4-6 times per year for the past several years). I didn't see anyone being taken off the mountain in the sleds, or injuries on the mountain AT ALL on the 28th. To throw out the idea of a major lawsuit is laughable. Guess it's the world we live in, I screw up, who can I pin it on? In any event, I wanted to set the record straight from my perspective of someone who happened to be there the day in question (and who rides at Bromley semi-regularly), conditions were not as described by the guy who had a huge wreck and unfortunately injured himself.

The number of ski patrollers that are to be seen at Bromley may lead on to think that the mountain is very safe and well protected. However, in my experience, the Ski Patrol was not doing their job correctly as a trail that should have been closed was not designated as such. There was no sign of danger or any indication that the trail was unsafe. The trail was very steep and was mostly thick snow that made it impossible to ride on. The trails that were open were covered in chopped ice that makes riding a miserable experience. This mountain calls itself the sun mountain but the only sun there is the one that shines on the far superior Stratton.
I was sliding down to first aid at the bottom I’ll probably
I took my kids skiing on Bromley Mountain December 28, 2018. It was our third day skiing there and the conditions were terrible The entire mountain was iced over and no fresh snow in two days. Very dangerous conditions. I’ve skied my whole life and skies over what appeared to be a small snow drift but was actually a block of ice. The front of my ski got stuck in the ice block and held it and I was completely twisted around. My entire knee got shredded. I was sledded down to first aid at the bottom of Bromley. They told us that the conditions that day were so bad that they were completely cleaned out of all supplies. Literally not any ice left or bandages or even a working computer. They resorted to using snow on my knee because they didn’t even have any ice left. The volunteer taking my intake notes was so grumpy that he actually yelled at me and told me to stop responding to his questions “like a woman” because He was so tired from the day that he wanted to go home.
The nearest emergency room was an hour away and urgent care closed at five. Mind you this is a ski mountain and that is just not OK. End result is that my ACL, MCL and Meniscus are completely torn. That entire mountain should’ve been closed that day but they were greedy and kept the iced solid trails open. If anyone who is reading this has experienced this, please let me know... There is a serious lawsuit here. At the very least, we need to prevent this negligence from happening to us and future innocent paying customers and children
