Overzicht

Pontresina ligt in het hoogste dal van Unterengadin en gaat van 1777 meter omhoog tot op 1860 meter boven de zeespiegel. Het is een zonnige plek, beschermd tegen de wind, en ligt op een zuidwestelijke helling. Hoewel Pontresina een trendy en openhartige plaats is, houdt het vast aan zijn tradities en culturele wortels. Iedere wintersporter ziet perfecte skiomstandigheden tegemoet op de netjes geprepareerde pistes van Engadin. De regio’s Diavolezza, Piz Lagalb, Languard, Muottas Muragl, Corvatsch/Furtschellas en Corviglia/Marguns bieden veel afwisseling en de ultieme skibelevenis op 350 pistekilometers. Er zijn uiteraard ook wandelroutes en hellingen waar off-piste geskied kan worden.
